The other change you see for the year 2022 in the Chevrolet Equinox lineup is the absence of the 2.0L turbo-4 engine and so, it is solely the 1.5L turbo-4 engine rated at 170-hp that will remain this year to deliver a good fuel economy but will not have much excitement left for the accelerations.

However, the RS trim can be a choice only for those, who can go spending those extra bucks for the kind of luxuries, the trim can provide. Otherwise, the LT trim has received the maximum recommendation from the buyers and the experts alike. This trim is rightly priced for the features it adds to the base. From an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat to pairs of HID headlamps, the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox also offers a bunch of good entertainment stuff through its advanced infotainment system that comprises a 4.2-inch color display unit for the driver and a one-year subscription for the SiriusXM.
